Hi

My basic setup is

Cabel Modem, Belin Router, Dimensions Dell PC, ISP Telewest (blueyonder), BF2 and all the latest patches. - more details given if needed

Well i have been playing BF2 with no problem for a few months now, over the last week I keep getting the dreaded message "There is a problem with your connection", sometimes it goes and I can get on with the game however most of the time I get disconnected, I have an average ping of about 15 (or thats what it says) there have been no config changes at my end so Im not sure were to look ?

Pointers appreciated.

Same here.

BF2 servers/routers might be having a day-off.

Just wait it out , dont go reinstalling everything.

happens to just about everyone i think reason for it very's and uselly not to much you can do about it. Except make sure have nothing running in the back ground no antivirus updates, firewall updates, windows updates or any of the millions of spyware downloads that could be on your computer if you do have spyware get it off your computer. One more thing you may try is power cycle your route and modem and made sure you do it this way power both off plug the router back in and when it is up plug the modem back in.

try typing "pb_sleep 500" in the ` menu ingame and press enter.

I've been having the same problem more or less. BF2 was running fine for me then since like middle of last month or so all of a sudden I get constent "There is a problem with your connection" but, if I fly a plane or helicopter I have no lag problems at all. Just when I try and play on foot I lag all over the place. Finally noticed the other day all the servers on the browser now show red bars instead of green on all the servers.

I'm at a loss as to what happened.
