I'm at my friend's house updating/fixing these computers and two of them, a Vista and a 7 computer are both in their own way stating that they have a limited connection
The Windows 7 computer says Limited Access next to the connection, and the wireless taskbar icon is the kind that tells you there are connections available even though it's technically already connected to the one I want it to connected
The Windows Vista computer seems a little more specific saying: Local Only next to its connection status but I can't even connect to the router through IP address, nor can I discover any other wireless devices on the network.
Both computers have an "Excellent" connection to the router, and the router itself is a Netgear WNR-1000 v2. What could be the problem? I've already logged into the router and gone into the settings and looked at everything and there weren't any specific security settings anywhere that I think would affect this.
I am typing this from the single wired computer, which obviously works fine with the router.
