G'day,

I've just started playing wake again, and just relised how easy it is to get a jet (used to have to go through the 'hop in jet, get m95'ed out, eventually get jet, run over 3905736 teammates and get banned) since Internode toughened their rules and pretty much ban anyone who TKs for a jet with proof.
I'm just wondering...joysticks, joysticks...

Are they all that they are made out to be? Like...very usefull? Will it make a difference?
Are they easy to adapt to?
I'm a good flyer, I know what I am doing and such, I just want to become excellent.

Joysticks seem like a much more natural way to fly. If you get one, make sure you get one with twist.

The big difference is in doing continuous adjustments. Trying to do a loop with a mouse is tough, but with a joystick all you have to do is pull up and hold it there.

They do take some getting used to though, especially if you've never used one before. But it's worth it in my opinion.

I wouldn't even consider flying with a keyboard+mouse for one second. Throttle control alone makes a joystick worth it!

i hate when im being chased by other jets and im in a jet... i got pwned big time... i cant turn sharp corners to lose them (i think its cause of keyboard and mouse ) are joystickes really that good for flying??? can they also be used for like, let's say, sniping? ROFL! imagine!

Well I bought a logitech ex. 3D pro, feels pretty good now I just have to get used to it
