mmm.... in wake island you can hide everywhere so it is pretty good

In the middle of the battlefield.

i got one that is really good....... in kubra dam by the lower dam there is green round things at the top of the dam.....jump on them and go under the roof above it.....very good, i was playing sniper game with friends  and they couldn't find until i kept on shooting them from above cuz i could see all below me....(it was funny)

find ur own sniper spots, sheesh

I think the effectiveness of a spot is really round dependant. There's quite a few spots that will get you an awesome k to d one round and then the next you'll never even see an enemy.

if you want to be a good sniper, you need to think like a sniper. 

for me, i find a good spot in any map (that spot in dragon valley is good but i dont usually stay there the whole round), but if my position is compromised, i move and never return to the same spot.  also i work alone, unless another mate of mine is with me who knows what i'm doing.  once i find a good spot, i note the likely routes enemies would be taking around my spot and boobytrap them with claymores. i also note my evac route in case i'm spotted.

if you're spotted, run away.  if you're spotted by another sniper, then run far far away, coz don't forget, he's on zoom and he's following your every move.  so move out of sight.  and save your sprint for when you are moving across open ground.

here's what happened to me once: songhua stalemate, i was prone on top of a hill overlooking one of the US flags (the one with the chinese helipad) sniping away. suddenly i hear a whizz and thump beside me; some one was sniping me! i knew it was a sniper and i knew that the b@stard was across on the otherside of the hill!  if i stayed and searched for him using my scope, i know i won't be so lucky with the next shot. i got up and ran back following my evac route.  i was pretty sure that the fella would be staying in his same position so i decided to flank him from the west.  that took me about 3 mins to complete, i had to swim a bit, sprint a bit, climb a bit and even hide and wait a bit before finally finding a good spot to search for him from the west.  as i looked through my scope and searched, i found him!  he was looking at the direction i was originally located! i took my time, aimed about 2mm above his head and fired once.

sometimes sniping takes some patience but it gives you great satisfaction when you kill someone with one shot to the head at distance.

Yeah I know that one. I go there often. Wait until they remain completely still and nail them with a headshot. I was there when I met NoobMurderer.

I have a private Sniping spot on Sharqi. It's only good if you want to shoot the guys on top of the TV tower. It's extremely far away so you can only just see if there are people there, (silhouettes rule, but you can ju-ust see them if they're next to the building thing on the top.)
So far no-one has seen me there, even when the point it was at got captured. Another good thing about it is that you can see almost every part of the TV tower roof, and they can't see you at all.

Not telling where it is though.

Im not telling my spot but I get 15-35 kills and maybe 1 death per round [but i barly play that map so....]

spots? just walk around with a sniper you can easily own every kit
