I´m using a enhanced mod, but still, the view is very distorted, nauseating me after an hour of play.

I hope you don't ever play as an Alien in AvP 1/2, then. Especially 1.

I like how they pretty much stuck to the same interface for the longest time in the Dark Forces series.

I had the exact same thought yesterday. Dark Forces very consequently upgraded on the things Doom brought to the genre. The cutscenes especially fill me with joy.

Me and Dauntless kicking ass

Soo after finally getting RAGE working I find myself in some of the most varying difficulty ever, it never gets "hard" on normal (except for those damned Rocket Rallies), but damn Mutant levels are piss easy when you have the Authority machine gun, you don't even have to shoot with it, just melee one-hit KO them... I've completed 3 zombie-only levels plus some sewers in the third city now and they haven't even made me use a defib. charge yet despite me only using bullets on bosses and ranged muties...

For some magic reason the weapons don't do the same melee damage

^I love that if you stay inactive for a short while, the camera goes to a cinematic view, circling your character. Why does no one do this anymore today?

Jedi Knight. After a 1 hour internet crusade I finally got it to work properly. Apart from the cutscenes and menus still being in window mode
Nevertheless, I forgot how awesome this game is, the shooting, the puzzles.

I wouldn´t say smaller, but much more linear, which I actually like. So far I only got lost once and it took me about 10 minutes to figure out where I needed to go. Makes for a much better flow, whereas in Dark Forces you were forced to backtrack through areas you cleared already, being nothing more than a tedious virtual jog.
