2nd Screen Problem

Hey guys.

Got 2 screens, one is a Samsung working fine, other is a DGM(cheap I know). Dual screen setup in landscape mode, DGM being the secondary screen.

Dragged a window from my primary screen to the DGM one and the resolution reset on the DGM, it was 1980 x 1080. Now it's reverted to a non widescreen standard and the widescreen options aren't there anymore. So it looks all fucked up.

I tried removing my nivida drivers and reinstalling and plugging the screen in and out. Anyone got any suggestions?

Just the standard windows dual screen setup? I'd recommend obtaining DisplayFusion Pro, I've been using it for a while now and really makes dual screen setups much more efficient

Well, I just set up dual display through the nvidia control panel. any way I can force a manually set resolution on a screen?

tried changing the resolution through nVidia control panel? There's an option for it in CCC:

Yes I have, that's where it only shows the standard no Widescreen res.

Ah thank fuck got it fixed, there was an option in nvidia control panel for manual resolutions. It's sorted now.

I'd still use a dual screen program, even just for the fact that you get a proper taskbar on the second monitor
