I havn't seen anyone else put a topic in here, so here goes. I think it's VERY important that either claymores do not hurt team mates, or that claymores are able to be blown up by teammates, such as by shooting them, or nadeing them. This is very important, because if your team mate puts a claymore on a ladder to a building, and then gets killed, there is NO WAY to get on top of that building without being TK'd. Comments anyone?

But claymores are inherently dangerous. Designed to protect snipers who have no one watching their back. I Agree lots of teammates pay no attention to the big red warning symbol on their screens, so I have the same problem with mines. I think the detonator idea above would fix the problem mostly. That way if you thought friendlies were nearby you could basically shut down the claymore.

I didn't think about that! That would be great! The claymore blows up when you detonate it. But, if you die, they you can't detonate it? Should it blow up when you die? Or, should you be able to detonate it even after you die?
Explosive devices that you've placed remain for about a minute after you die, and then disappear . . .
Patience is the best course of action.

they also disappear if you place another claymore to replace it. snipers can only palce 2 claymores, specops 5 C4's, engineers... 5 or 6 (?) mines.
get a supply crate, put down 2 claymores or 5 C4's or whatever, rearm yourself and you'll see the moment you put down your 3rd claymore or 6th C4, your first one disappears.
but i'm the kind of sniper who gets up close and personal, kinda controversial but claymores work like a charm because they kill instantly and i never worry about teamkills.

I agree with all you guys have to say! You're such geniuses! (I'll butter you up, then TK you for your upgreaded sniper rifle! lol! JK)
561 more points and you can have sniper rifle all the time! (However useless it may be )Rotter wrote:

Funny thing is, you CAN blow up a claymore by grenading it.Rotter wrote:

Yeah, hopefully you see it, before it sees you.tF-voodoochild wrote:

Unfortunately, the method I seem to use most often only allows me a brief glimpse before the device detonates and blows me off the ladder / rooftop . . .Dizazter wrote:

I didn't know you can nade claymores. If you can, prob is solved. I'll try it.
You can now... (Patch 1.03)
