I'm starting to get the feeling that we bought a beta release for BF2 Special Forces with the coding on this game. But I still love it. Anyway, today playing on some map I hadn't tried before I got stuck in an AA mount.  I literally could not get out no matter how many times I hit e, I would just hear this weird noise, kinda like an error message. Has this happened to anyone?

I was about to suicide but the enemy took over the nearby base so I typed "hey someone come kill me at the AA at -nameOfBase-". Shortly after a buggy appeared and I took it out with the AA missle which was awesome. But the explosion or something killed me.

Anyway, gave me a good laugh, but then when I died I was like ok that was a waste of 5 mins.

Happened to me twice already, both times on Dragon Valley.
Had to beg someone to kill me too, fortunately the enemy commander proved most merciful when he dropped some arty on my head...

This happens on a couple of maps - I've seen it on Wake and Dragon Valley. In Dragon Valley one of the AA emplacements is narrower than the other - your have to line up quite cleanly with the gap in the sandbags otherwise you cannot exit.
Try it in other emplacements facing the sandbags - you will get the 'cannot exit' sound.
Really bad if you want to exit in a hurry....

Don't you lose points for suiciding?

Right.
Which is why I prefer waiting until hostiles blow me up.

I've also tried being stuck in an AA-site (I think all of the times were in Dragon valley).. I've also been stuck in bushes and trees.. I've been stuck in a lot of things..

The best way to avoid it: IS TO STAY AWAY FROM IT

AA-sites suck.. they never ever hit anything - unless its a friendly chopper or plane..
And btw: I'm a pilot and AA-sites are probably the easiest kills out there.. I think - maybe around 25% of my kills in a plane is AA-sites - so stay away its my best advice for you guys

my commander dropped a crate for me (*I was Spec Ops*), which happened to land right behind me while I was on the AA - had to destroy the crate before I could leave...  doh

Yeah happend to me 2. The point is when you turn the AA in a way, you cannt exit, like the space between the sandbags and the AA it self is to small for you to fit in. Therefor the error noice, all you have to do is turn your AA a little and press E
