Just curious whose career resides as a Web Designer and/or Web Developer. I have been in the industry about 2 or so years, after changing over from a career in Advertising/Public Relations, and am definitely always looking to connect, network, or even just learn from those who have been doing it a lot longer or are more advanced. Anyone have any tips or resources they would suggest...maybe tools of the trade. Any insight or opinions would be great and beneficial.

Depending on what aspect of it you're most interested in, this could be stuck in the programming subsection of tech or the graphics section.

Yea I wasn't sure where it should be thrown. I do/am learning both aspects, both the front and back end...trying to find my niche within the field. Would be cool if there was a sub forum or even use this thread as a means of people being able to bounce ideas or even post some of their work for critiques and what not.

Would be cool to have a continuing conversation on the subject.

Don't skimp on learning CSS either. It's a lifesaver. Learned it about the same time I learned XHTML.
