I just got my Logitech G7 today and I am trying to get it to work with BF2. Everything works fine except for that BF2 wont allow me to map any buttons to the left and right tilt buttons. I keep the Logitech software (Setpoint) running in the background and I have tried mapping different commands to the tilt buttons in setpoint but it has no effect on BF2. If I run BF2 without Setpoint running in the background then nothing changes. I would really like to use the left and right tilt buttons so please let me know if you can do it.

Thanks!

So has anyone gotten their tilt wheel to be recognized in this game?

Yes, but only by mapping it to a key using the SetPoint software.

In the SetPoint software just select the button you want to remap and then click on Keystroke Assignment and then set a key (eg. Left scroll button to 1 and right scroll button to 2) - Lauch BF2 and when you click the button you will get knife or pistol - for this example.

Awesome it worked! It doesn't work unless you have that bottom left button checked on the 4th page (gaming tab) in the Setpoint software. The button says something like "keep scroll wheel settings in game". Also, on the first page of the Setpoint software where you map the buttons it is a good idea to create a profile just for BF2.exe and do the mapping there so that you dont change your mouse functionality outside of BF2.

Thanks guys!
