when i play bf i always get a "There is a problem with your connection" message, and it gets really annoying. Then, my ping will spike from 40 to 400 and the i always get kicked cause of that. Also, in the middle of a game it'll just disconnect me and say lost connection to the game. Is there a way to fix that?

Hi bro first of all, do you have any firewalls running while playing BF2?

Also try this link. http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=22556 ( should reduce your lag )

And you can also try disabling BG programs, this is how it's done

click start > run > type in msconfig hit ok or run > go to start up ( end tab ) hit disable all> hit apply.

It will ask you to restart PC do it. When windows starts up, pop-up will come up tick the box hit ok.

Don't worry when you disable all, it will recheck it self all the ones it needs to run, ( it will get read of any unwanted program starting on windows start up )

Try running BF2 after that start up see how it goes for you.

Let me know how you get on.
