OK I am getting really pissed. I've played over 15 hours in the assault kit and gotten 20+ kills more then twice once I even got 39 kills. I was playing in a ranked SF server. Can I only gain badges in BF2 or something? This is not the first kit that has done this to me Anyone know why this might happen?
Does it say "you have been awarded veterain xxxxx combat badge" in game and not show up in your stats?
This is what keeps happening to one of my clan mates, he has had the Ariel Servie ribbon awarded about 10 times, but it still doesnt show up

No it doesnt pop up with anything in game

2 things :
15 hours before you join (start BF2)
and then you should get the 20 kills
I have. I've tried on 2 diff servers.
You should be able to get it....go on a EA server and get your 20 kills their.....if it still doesn't show up. the system is f*cked........

yea but cant you earn both BF2 and B2SF badges in a SF server?
i need help with the vet. first aid and kinfe badges any ideas?

To earn vBF2 veteran in a SF server, you still need the minimum amount of time required in SF as you're in an SF server.Medic35 wrote:

Dont sweat not receiving veteran badges my friend, because when you get to the expert class badges you will realize how much of a cake job a vet badge is.

so if you already have the kills IAR needed to advance to the next badge lvl AND then (in a diff round) you get all the hours you need you wont get the badge?? You will have to get all the kills again?

You need the time requirement fulfilled first, and then the IAR requirement. Whenever I'm going for awards, I make sure the time requirement shows up in BF2S before I go for the IAR requirement, just to be sure.
For all these kind of awards get the time req. First and wait till it shows up in BFHQ, Quit the game and Rejoin with BF2 15 hours for VET and 100 for EXP. then you can get in a round and get your 15 Kills IN 1 round
