Worth a watch if only to play the 'what theory is that' game. The animation style can get kind of annoying, leaving me with something of a sea-sickness which forced me to pause the movie for a few minutes to regain my bearings.

Very whimsical, nice film. Scorcese really did a good job of bringing the world of cinema to life, I enjoyed it a lot. Sacha Baron Cohen even proved he could play something other than a chav, Kazakh, or gay German.

Awesome movie if you're into time travel, alternating pasts and futures, etc. (Think "Back to the Future," but through your mind instead of a DeLorean. Sound crazy, but it works.)

No it didn't. He proved he had powers when in prison by stabbing his palms while in kindergarten. Then goes back to prison and suddenly there are scars there and the inmates wonders how they magically appear.

However, when you see the accident with the fireworks, the limbs don't suddenly fall off in the present. The guy is a cripple from that point forward.

Movie was a total fail in terms of continuity.

He did that in prison to show the inmate he could "speak to Jesus," and because it was the only memory he could return too since he only had one journal.

When he loses his arms, you see his brain get "injected" with all the memories of the accident, and lives his whole without arms - it isn't until up to the point he returns to his older self does he realize that he had another life with arms. (As he travels through alternate timelines he keeps the memories of every single one)
