I was just curious as to why the term "Clan" is so prolific in BF2. In my past experience with Military FPS, groups usually refered to themselves as "Squads." I thought that the term "Clan" was reserved for fantasy themed games, ect. Anyway, I know it's just a nitpick and I didn't want to offend anyones sensabilities, but I am genuinely curious about why one term is used so much more often in this Military FPS than any other that I've seen.
