I crashed into the back of a Suziki Swift this arvo. Minimal damage to their car, my bonnet was quite buckled, bumper was caved in... thinking this would cost me a lot of money or a write off on my car...
Plastic bumper popped out by itself 10 mins after the accident, took my car to my mechanic, told me to take it to a panel beater mate of his - who once told me I'd have to leave my car in for a couple days to sort out a ding the size of a golf ball in the front left panel - and it would cost $350.
Took it in expecting a large bill and my car out of action for a few days... 20 minutes later he and his son had it 90% there (it's an old car so I don't care if it isn't perfect) and it's certainly sorted and roadworthy. When I asked how much, he said "get a carton of XXXX Gold for for my son, that's all".
