but honestly, the terrorists we deal with nowadays don't really have the capabilities of doing something like this. their tactics mostly include "make bomb, send guy with bomb into crowded market, watch as guy presses trigger thinking he'll get 72 virgins, enjoy big boom".

the 9/11 plot was original and inventive for them, but it was still a very basic way of doing things. these facilities are heavily locked down

and as with almost every virus this world has ever seen, there will still be some people immune to it, SO WE SHALL LIVE ON
