Thought it might have been a strategy game like Risk or something initially. Then I found out what it actually is.

not that I hate it, I just don't really care for it. i only hear it if someone else is playing it, basically.

i'm literally a big fan of any music, regardless of genre, so long as its good music in an artistic sense. i can appreciate all of it. i think genres are things invented by critics for pigeonholing convenience, and music itself is pretty universal. sure there's a big difference between rap and black metal but there's a lot of common ground too, and a lot of stuff that on a purely musical level shares the same properties and hooks. i think you're really being a bit dumb to just blanket filter-out all of one genre, or to dismiss it as trash. also the term 'electronic' here is misused so much... people normally mean dance music when they're talking about electronic stuff. hell most of the electronic music i listen to is ambient, or crossed over with contemporary/minimal classical... super chill study music. it's not all 4/4 drumbeats and loud synths.

Personally I don't dismiss it as trash, it just doesn't do much for me. I do appreciate good rap or hip-hop, and I can enjoy certain electronica but I'm not really into it as ambient/background study music (I generally don't study to music anyway).
I didn't say it was trash, just that it holds no appeal for me.
When I said electronic music I was talking about the modern dance hall stuff. I always liked industrial music like NIN, Ministry, Gravity Kills or older 80s synth pop like Depeche Mode.
