Saying "Happy Holidays" includes Christmas but not Hanukkah or Kwanza. You see, the root of "holiday" is obviously "holy day" and as Christmas is the only one with any real religious significance, the two are effectively interchangeable.
Hanukkah and Kwanzaa don't have anything to do with religion?
Maybe...it would hurt the feelings of those who don't celebrate Christmas!
