I think that, since you can declare a mutiny on your commander, you should be able to do so on your squad leaders. I've been stuck with a moronic leader more than once, and there's nothing I'd like to do more than TK them into oblivion, but that makes you lose points. Mutiny is much less messy.

I find it only irritating if I've got all my boyz on the squad and random Joe pops in to the leader slot and won't do anything. Otherwise, you can always just switch squads.

Sometimes servers have squads locked. Could be a bug, but no new one can be created until it resets. Otherwise, a server could have the max number of squads, which makes creating a new one for all your mates impossible.
