Last night I played Project Reality mod and noticed , that Sniper Class in BF2 Vanilla really needs SIMRAD w Range Finder or analogue . It makes sniper work somekind easyer and more professional, when fireing at long range targets , over then 300m . Most of shots hits their target , not like now , when you may only rely on your skills . Discuss

Wouldn't that be a little useless ? Because the scope of the sniper rifle already zoomes..
If binoculars are placed in it you would get a scope without the gun..

I heard someone say "If you're squad leader, send order to "attack here", or whatever, it will give you a range." I don't play sniper much.

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

Not similar binoculars , but electronic one , with range finder .

A range finder for sniper/squad leader would be great. Even better if range finder was built into the sniper score...

Yeah used to love it on Delta Force how you could range the target with your scope and adjust the elevation for bullet drop, made sniping much more fun and skillful.

Use your commo rose and point to your target, select Move and a range marker will appear telling you the distance.

binoculars would make a lot more fun to play as the sniper.

also when you are in a great position and looking for "prey" it would be more easy to have the binocualars to get at wider look of the battlefield.

just make the snipeing roll more realistic
