i hate when people run in front of your vehicle PURPOSEFULLY and then punish for it
or idiots who run around my tank when i'm in battle and am moving around a lot.... hate that
i've gotten so many TK's/punishes from idiots like that...

I only punish when i dont get revived by a medic. Or it was really my fault, but if they had thrown a grenade blind in karkand i punish then for being an idiot

This wouldn't catch the folks who are still knobs and made Gunnie or better, and who's sole purpose in life is to be a dick, but would cut down drastically on the newbie prats who simply can't play.

A slight reverse, but I got tk'd twice yesterday by 'nervous' players who didn't realise I was on the same team as them!
I calmly waited for them to at least say sorry, but nothing...they got punished. Mistakes happen, I know cause I've made plenty. But a sorry can at least show that you are not a complete idiot!

I've had a couple of good ones recently, but I think I have a new favourite from just a few hours ago. I'm sniping on the roof of the TV station and there's another team member sniping there too. I'm standing well back from the edge so as little of me is visible as possible and when I crouch I disappear from view. But this clown keeps on strafing into my path and the inevitable happens, I kill him as he steps right into a shot. What do you think I'm doing standing on this roof with a sniper rifle? Knitting?!!
If the PTK is under stupid curcumstances and im a bad mood at the time i will do my utmost to get the bitch banned/kicked usually by PTK running over grenades vehcles etc, or driving a car towards them then getting out so you kill em but without the possability of a PTK eventually they will learn, i expesialy hate people who tk for vehicles, they get the special treatment of me following them from server to server trying to get them banned..
OK, so some news punish tk's all the time. Why, you may wonder? They do not know the honor system when they pay BF2. Like, without your team there is no way to win!!! I hate punishers.
ok, i think the most common tk punish is when they stand in front or behind the tank! I can't seeyou from my port hole. Dumb people like that are crazy.

i dont know why ppl continue to abuse the"noobs"...ive seen plenty of high ranking players being more noobs than noobs and i for one know some noobs and if they get tked or tk in a game they get scared and disconnect...they are just afraid...leave 'em alone!

Well I was playing on KOK sever and every time someone tked one of the KOK people they would punish. Ether when it was there fault or someone else. I was going to fixes one of the tanks in front of me and then a KOK person just guns it to run in front of me. I think that is the same person that steps out in front of traffic. Lets think about it do you jump in front of an 18 wheeler no and why not? Because you would be squashed like a bug. Then of I bitched for them punishing me then he booted me for DISRESPECTING KOK MEMBERS. Well I wish they would respect other players. All I see is kick because he stole a plain or what ever there server fine I guess I'll just play on mine or some other clan's server that gives people a little respect.

Is there any tracking of how many times people punish? Someone who keeps getting TKd all the time is a problematic as someone TKing all the time.

I just had to reply to this one because 2 days ago I was ready to put my fist through the monitor.
I was on a pub server playing warlord on insurgent side.
SAS keeps coming through and owning with their armor.
So I decide to come in as engineer and leave them little presents on the ground.
4 times ...count 4 TIMES I get a teamkill when one of my AT mines goes off and destroys enemy armor. To make things worse I got a punish for all of them. I was the only one actively taking out the enemy armor and some noob was standing too close to the tank (probably trying to c4 it or something). I started screaming into the chat after the second time. I think an admin was on and keeping track because after the fourth time and my screaming, I saw someone get kicked.
I have never had that many TKs on one map from someone standing too close to mines.
I always punish on a case by case basis. I put myself in the other persons shoes and judge from there. Did he round a corner in a buggy and smash me because I had just popped out of cover or just spawned in? Forgive. Was I standing too close when an AT mine went off? Forgive. Was I a loner in a huge group of enemies and got bombed? forgive. I only punish for intentionals and retardation...did some FNG through a grenade into a group of 2 friendlies fighting it out with 1 enemy and kill me? Punish.

I play mostly on Rubberducky, no punish option.

Latest example is on Ghost Town map (BF2:SF) (Internode SF server #18 - Australia) - got TK punished for laying claymores at 2 of the 3 ladders onto the roof at North Bridge when player climbed the ladder and had one go off in his face. When I confronted him about the punish I got, "Don't block all the ladders you idiot" - well how's this - "Learn the friggin' map and use the ladder I left free you idiot !!!" - all you needed to do was look up to see where they were - you know who you are...
