I can't refresh the server list, nothing happens when I press the "update server list" or the refresh list... Only the "wait" thing pops us for a fraction of a second.

But I can see my favorite servers and join them...

How can I fix this?

I have the same problem on occasion, the only way I can fix it is to restart bf2.

This happens to me too on occasion. Try clicking on the other main tabs (BFHQ, Community) and then go back into the multiplayer tab and try updating. This worked for me but I can't be sure if it will work for you.
