firearm restriction is 18 but 15 year-olds can get one with parents' permission. You also need proof for needing said weapon (e.g hunting license or membership of a shooting range etc.) plus you have to go see a shrink for mental health documentation plus you get interviewed by two police officers. Then you can be granted the permission to buy a gun. So unlike it might seem, we dont just give out guns to every 9th grader. Basically you can only get a shotgun or a .22 pistol / rifle when you are underage. Possibly a bigger rifle if you take part in a elk hunting association.
I got my shotgun when I was 15.

we can shoot fairly young over here too, i think i first played with rifles when i was 14? surprised at the 125cc restriction though. for us its 16 (50cc), 17-21 (125cc or 31bhp chipped) 21+ no reg
15 for <50cc here, 16 for <125cc and then 20 for >125cc
Shooting itself or even hunting in your guardian's supervision, with their weapons is not limited by age whatsoever. It's just that you need the licenses to do this stuff alone.
