i'm sick of people just pressing page up whenever they see a kick vote! i always get kicked when i play fairly.

Ive been playing almost 200 hours on this account and another 50 on another, I have never EVER seen a successful kick vote and i have a few regular servers but i also go on random stuff. Even when i start a kick vote against TK nabs and explain, in detail, why its never successful.. Just the other side of the spectrum i guess
People must really hate u dude. Ive never seen a kick vote work. Even when a dude was tking up the ass for no reason 2 kick votes didn't get him out and everyone on the server was pissed.
Seriosly, I've NEVER seen a successful kick vote. Just recently on a small server we were voting some asshat off ~ "9 votes needed, 9 votes received, player asshat stays" WTF?
I've seen them work a couple of times. But most of the times I don't think they work because people disable their "voting" in the config menus. I know I do. I hate seeing all that spam on the bottom of the screen.

well then, i think that people who have their vote option turned off need to be taken out of the total number of people in ther server when calculating for votes needed to kick somebody. only seen it happen a handful of times, even if a guy is teamkilling the fuck out of our team and everyone is typing in the chat: ":kick, please! look, he's -257655 points" and the player is that deep in negative scores, when those people survive kick votes, it makes my hope for the future of mankind dwindle a little more.....

I would estimate that I've seen it actually work about 2 or 3 times (out of ~500 total hours played to date). I just turn voting off in my preferences (you still see the votes but you dont ever participate in them, since I know it would just be a frustrating waste of time and a distraction)..-^Jackabo^-. wrote:

With [CANADA]_ZenMaster's (this guy rocks, he wrote a really good pilot guide as well) localization pack, it is even kind of amusing and makes it much easier for me to completely ignore since it reminds me that voting pretty much never works.
When a vote happens it says something to the general effect of "So-and-so has been angered by somebody-else, so since they are total noobs, they decided to do a kick/mutiny vote! Too bad it will never work..lol"
