Im playing BF3 on PS3 and throughougly and wholeheartidly wanking over it. I preferred BF2 on PC, but for me this is the next best thing. At least you guys can have some banter over the mic, I cant even apologise for being shit to my teammates. id prolly spell it wrong though!

the game is pretty much always full and there is no lack of enemies
i know some of the maps are missing a flag or two, compared to pc, and i suppose that helps with smaller teams
feels like the same or more action than bf2 on pc
on bf2 pc i always like the full size maps with less players (32?), too many players got a bit too busy at times
Yes Gurdo, 24 players is a fucker, and when Tehrane comes along people leave, along with Khagris. My fav map is Metro, which usually follows Tehrane. Id love a 64 player map, but mostly I miss the Mic chat. I never really gamed with the members here on BF2 but would know and then probably have the piss ripped out of me here the next day. Everyone here who plays - to me seem pretty fucking good at it.

mic working is hit and miss though, something buggy about it
i miss being able to type a message to my squad, team or every one, should be a option since consoles can use keyboards too

The console version of BF3 is a good alternative if you weren't able to upgrade your PC to meet the specifications. I'm going to be upgrading my XFX HD 4850 hopefully in the coming months to something more capable.

You have standards set way too high. I'm a person that played Crysis on max graphics on an awesome PC. I except my PC games to look breathtaking, run fast, and be fun to play on a huge scale.
When I play on my 360 my standards lower because I know what the hardware is or isn't capable of. I think it's fine.
