3 days left in my month long Christmas break, so I'm desperately editing essays and assignments due when I get back. Christmas with the family was amazing, despite my uncle coming for what will likely be his last Christmas due to skin cancer.

Don't you start a new semester on Monday? Just curious why you already have assignments. Is it a year long class? Sorry to hear about your uncle

I'm torn at the minute as to who I hand my resume to. I'd like a part time job or something full time that will allow me to go to Europe for several weeks in June. I don't wan't to get stuck in one job then not be able to get the time off.

All of my classes are full year. I intentionally work my schedule that way so I can work closely with professors, build repore, and greaten my chances of being offered a research position for the summer.

You could always apply now and ask to take an unpaid sabbatical to travel for a while. My cousin just came back from a 2 month trip through East Asia. No word on how good Thai whore houses are.

fyi this is much, much more difficult than climbing the 7 summits (everest et al):

Mount Tyree
Puncak Mandala
Mount Townsend
K2
Dykh-Tau
Mount Logan
Ojos del Salado

fyi this guy also descended mount everest on skis, which he also did on nanga parbat being the first ever to do the latter.

He's also climbed 12 out of 14 8k+ mountains in the world, among which Annapurna I - which has a fatality ratio of 38%.

Was supposed to be on jury duty next week, but I'm TDY instead.
