Saw the new Johnny English. It was pretty good, similar style to the previous one... I thought they might've changed it up a bit. 7/10.

i figured that much. still, terminator 2, for example, looks awesome regardless of whether you have seen the first movie or not. oh, btw:

it's actually better than the first movie, imo. more humor (darker though), more action, better main villain - basically, it's more of the same stuff, just better. guy ritchie at his best.

That being said it was really good. The hutu militants were probably my favorite movie villains of all time. They filled the roll perfectly.

I'm not saying that TL is a better film than T2, because it simply isn't. T2 doesn't have very many equals that got things just so the way it did. Hell, I have a VHS, two DVD's and a blu-ray, plus a bunch of horrible Terminator games in my collection simply because I liked the movie. What I'm saying is that T2 was far less dependent on T1 than TL was on Tron.

That said, I still don't think that the Terminator universe is a very complicated one. For all it utilizes time travel, you're never really faced with even the small amount of mindf*ck Back to the Future had to offer.

Honestly don't bother. Was expecting a gritty drama, instead sat through a cheesy, schmaltzy piece of crap, with no proper characters and a terrible script. I honestly don't see how on earth it has been rated so highly by the critics. The script really is bad, its like its been aimed at 12 year old's or something...

The way it's been portrayed in the media and the trailer is nothing whatsoever what the film is actually like.

TBF it's not a really bad film or anything, it's just not what I was expecting or hoping for at all.
