People have been saying that you need 250 hours with each the MEC/PLA to get the ribbons.

If you look at my ribbons you can see that is false.

I have  3:16 / PLA
           6:24 / MEC

Just helpin' =P

My personal opinion is that you have to play each map a certain about of time. possibly as both sides.

you get it as soon as you play each map for each army. IE all the maps with MEC on it and you get the service ribbon for them, i gaurntee this because i had the china ribbon and couldnt figure why i didnt have the MEC one, looked at my stats and i NEVER played clean sweep, when i did (1minute of play) i got it.

That's the medals not the ribbons.  And it's 300 hours.

Tsk, tsk. I can almost bet I saw one with 285 hours as USMC, 503 wins as it, and over 100 BRS -> has the Navy Cross.
