that makes me want to stay out
why?
I'm not saying I have a snowballs chance in hell with anybody that looks like those girls BUT wiping the cheeto stains off my fingers and working off some fat and building some muscle at least builds my self esteem to the fact that in my dreams I do.

Deadlift is back up to 235, squat back to 225 with proper form, and bench back to 160. Aiming for 275, 275, and 185 before I head home for Spring Break in early March.
you can move up 25 lbs on bench in 1 month and a half. god damn.
I've found that five pounds each week is attainable, at least when I'm still pushing through the beginner levels of strength. Honestly, 170 or 175 is far more realistic, but it's better to have a high goal at a nice round benchmark like 185.
ive started doing 8:30am gym sessions... ugh the rest of the day sucks
wait wait. so you'll do 175 this week (or whenever) for the 1-3 times you do chest/tris/upperbody. 180 the next week. 185 the week after that?!? Either I'm at a pretty constant plateau and this is normal or you can build muscle like a madman.nukchebi0 wrote:

yeah i can't do that. I have to do mine at the end of the day. plus if I go an hour or so before the gym closes its pretty empty which is my heaven.Winston_Churchill wrote:

its empty early morning too. i have weird class/eating schedules in the afternoon and evening so i cant normally go then
That is the idea, yes. I'll lift tomorrow with 165, likely get about 6, 6, 4, 4, and hopefully push it to 6, 6, 6, 6 in a week, as I've been able to do historically. Then, I'll move to 170 and repeat the process. I have five weeks until Spring Break, so theoretically I will get to 185 just as I leave college and go home. As noted, I don't foresee that happening, because I highly doubt I'll strictly stick to my schedule or be able to get enough sleep to recover properly, but its better to aim high.pirana6 wrote:

how many times a week do you do bench?
I designed my routine for three times, which happens unless I get sick or have multiple tests.
Successfully went for 235 on squat, 245 on deadlift, and 165 for 6, 6, 6, 5 on bench.

My office has a gym now so I go at 7 in the morning and finish up at about 8:10 before jumping in a lovely hot shower. It makes the day so much better if I've done it in the morning. I hate doing it in the evening/afternoon now.Winston_Churchill wrote:

Long time no post in this thread. I've been pretty badly injured for about 3 months with shoulder issues (non-stop with them) but now I'm back and been back for about 2 months. Shit feels good.
