Hahaha oh yeah. You're utterly terrible like... Hilariously hilariously awful. So awful in fact you couldnt jump out the viper, hop in the havoc, and fly it back to the tv station in sharqi <3Kampframmer wrote:

I am an awful pilot, and you've experienced that first hand.
Use mouse. Takes some gettng used to, but heed Luciens advise to turn slow and steady. When you get the hang of it you´ll outturn 90% of the other pilots, which is almost always a win.Jaekus wrote:
I used to get that magazine. Funny thing is I never once subscribed to it yet I started receiving it in the post for a couple years, addressed personally to me.
Gonna give it a go now...
How can I practice in BF3, and I don't want to go co-op. I tried getting onto an empty server but I had to wait till other people joinedSisco wrote:

Prepare to die a lot in the beginning though.
Plenty of servers about that are 1 player start.Jaekus wrote:

Any particular reason why you don't want to go co-op? If you don't want to be paired with some random half a world away, I'll gun for ya.Jaekus wrote:

Meh, I need more co-op points anyways. About 100k in fact, so I can do quite a few runs before it becomes pointless.Jaekus wrote:

Sweet, well I should be about tomorrow night if that suits?
I believe you will find that when you stop moving your mouse, it acts the same way as the stick centering itselfJaekus wrote:
I've been doing some reading and looking on youtube, it seems that either a joystick or controller is easier, as the stick returns to the neutral position whereas the keyboard/mouse combo means you have to right it yourself. Maybe that's a (small) part of my problem. That and lack of practice.
I'm not total noob, I can fly a chopper and land it at another location. I just fly the thing like a grandma
I noticed last night. Only annoying part is that I have a small desk. That and I need a lot of practiceAdams_BJ wrote:

Won´t take all that long. I´m a decent pilot and it took me 2 hours to get the hang of flying without getting shot down and another 2 to unlock all the good stuff.Jaekus wrote:

And it really fucking sucks to try to do anything in a jet when you haven't unlocked flares yet. fml
