Posting a big picture is hardly a good reason for a day long ban. An AWM would have been a lot more fitting.

Here's some things I have done and not been banned for:
Had the n word in my avatar (kmar and tucker both gave me awms at around the same time)
Posted a link to a forkbomb named antiviruslol.bat in a tech thread (tucker gave me an awm)
Posting a picture in EE chats that was very large (deleted, no awm or ban)
Here's something that I got banned for:
posting a picture in the respond by picture thread that was very large (1 day from ken with the message "No")
