pokemon yellow fucking sucked because the first gym was the rock gym. AKA the worst pokemon type for Pikachu to go up against.

Once I got into it pretty hardcore for about a year I made this insane deck, it would piss everyone off who played against it because they couldn't kill me, I could counter any spell, they couldn't kill my lands and I could remove any cards I wanted from their deck from the game, permanently. And then I'd make some insane fireball that would deal like 40 points of damage, divided any way I saw fit. And I could cycle back through my graveyard and deck for any cards I wanted.
I ended up selling all my cards bar one for $150 and a half oz of weed.

Yellow was my first pokemon game. I leveled pikachu to 20 before the first gym so I had slam and could win

What year was it?
Pretty much, though there was a bit more to it than that, it was nasty. Year was 2001, sold the cards in 2002. Had some Ley Druids in there, bit of white for healing, quite a few artifacts. It was based around getting the foil Denying Wind I still have, it's a sorcery that is "Search through target opponents deck and choose up to seven cards and remove them from the game". Basically cripples anyone's deck of course and really pisses people off, lol

Oh and with that deck coz I had some artifact that could return cards from the graveyard to my hand or deck I could play the Denying Wind multiple times. And I had a lot of counterspells and creatures/artifacts with counterspells or abilities to remove cards from the hand or play, so I was basically untouchable and unstoppable.
I still have all of my Magic cards. I play with a squirrel deck. It's done me well so far.
