BF2S Forums co op?

it seems to be AWOL?
very odd
me wonders if it is a server option
some clarity on EAs part would be nifty

ok a little looking got me this, in the ded server launcher the options are there for bots, but that doesnt make a whole lot of sense simply because running a ded server and then trying to play on it is simply not going to work, we must be missing somthing

is the Co Op for ranked servers too?because then people are going to be getting scores of like 300-5 and like 60 knifes in a round

..or maybe EA made it so you can't get any points related to bots (kills, revives, heals, cap assists, etc). If it's available for ranked that is. That would be useful for keeping servers full.

How can you set it up so that you and your friend can do co-op against the bots? That would be cool eh? You and your friend taking on like 50 bots on like medium or low difficulty? I wonder if I would have to open up a port on my router so that my friend would be able to connect to me. Anyone else tried this?

No, like the others said it's not ranked. It's more for practice. You and you squad of friends can play against bots on difficult setting and get some good practice in before you go out and play ranked.

yay EA and there damn incrementals, they never work for me , you would think i would learn....

Hmm,let me guess...you had a Total BF2 map pack or any other custom map installed?

Because I didn't have the co-op options in the "create local",it just said conquest or singleplayer(?),which only showed the map pack maps...
After I de-installed the mappacks it works like a charm.
Too bad you already re-installed your whole game...
