Im starting to think that surely not a huge cooporation like EA can be full of such
retarded fools.  I mean lets be honest.. have you tried the new patch?  I did... I
cant even get on ONE server now.. ALL 400 reported servers (using my filters..)
are either empty, or when I go to click on one it changes to somewhere else in
the list..

Im starting to think somewhere at EA, they're sitting around a table saying..
"hee hee, lets issue a patch that total f***s up the game, and see what happens.."

First, they issue a patch that thwarted the bunny hopping/dolphing diving because
some noobs apparently couldnt hit a moving target and they complained about
"oh jumping and shooting isnt realistic.. it shouldnt be allowed, or... you cant dive
and fire at the same that, thats not realistic! whaa whaa.."  btw, to those noobs I
say... umm... whens the last time you seen a soldier (ANYWHER, ANYTIME in the
history of mankind get killed, then get defib'd by a medic, and then hops up and
starts running and fighting again?  Im waiting for your answer... ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?  ?

Anyhow.. This game gets crappier and crappier everytime EA lays their hands on it..
They took what could have been the greatest war fps game of all time and screwed it
up with horrible code.. probably the worst server browser in history of the internet,
and some of the biggest gestapo type rules Ive ever seen for admins, and game
server providers..

What a shame.. Game can be huge fun..... if only EPIC had published it.. they know
how to do a game...and more importantly... THEY KNOW HOW TO SUPPORT A GAME..
BEFORE AND AFTER RELEASE.

Cheers EA.. sleep well.. though you'll NEVER see another penny of my money.. EVER.

EA's problem seems to be that they don't really concentrate enough on fixing existing bugs, and especially not testing new patches for new bugs. The new patch unbound every key and device (even the esc key and the mouse) in game for me and then it crashed 3 times in a row plus an additional 2 more times before I finally joined a server. I'm sorry, but a few new (and probably buggy) pieces of new content is NOT worth waiting, especially when I'm really just waiting for the red/blue bug fix and the crashes to be fixed. Plus, they really need to get rid of the 10 minutes it takes to log in for me. That is just irritating. EA needs to listen to their gamers and FIX THINGS rather than add in "OH BOY! VEHICLE DROP! NOW YOU CAN DESTROY JETS ON CARRIERS WITHOUT WAITING FOR ARTILLERY!"

The problems are these:

1) They don't fix bugs, atleast not the major ones.
2) They give us loads of new features that in the end just get exploited.

shut up and get over it, complaining like a little girl on this forum isn't getting you anywhere and never will, so just deal with it because you're addicted and can't stop playing BF2 anyways.

I havnt got home from work to install it yet, we will see......although with all the problems being said of it...im thinking i might wait to install it, and just kick it on 1.2 for awhile longer

You have no idea how close t the truth you might be.

I spent some time playing a game called Ultima Online (some of you may have herd of/played it as well)

I eventually left this game because EA turned it to shit. I liken EA to those parents that think its a good idea to end little league games in a tie so no one has to learn how to lose with class. and to give everyone a trophy at the end of the season so no one feels left out.


EA ruined UO, they will ruin BF2 as well before its said and done.

unfortunatly Im far to addicted to the game to quit BF2 like I did UO.
