I would agree that there a fair amount of worthless people that want to fly around without a gunner.  "Worthless" in the sense that they effectively accomplish nothing, yet they spend a great deal of their time trying to get the attack helicopters.

While I'm all for people playing how they want, and doing what they want, it can get mildly frustrating at times when the people that insist on taking the helicopters can't even manage to fulfill the basic need the rest of the team requires from the people in the helicopters.

As long as I'm in a helicopter, and people are spotting other vehicles, I'll do what I can to come and help those people out.  It's all the times when I'm not in a helicopter, and no one comes to kill the 87 tanks that I've spotted.  It's just... it makes me want to burn their faces off.

I don't really know the point of this reply, but yeah, balls?

And thats comming from the best Solo Pilot I have seen, Quiet possibly the best in BF2...

Doesn't ignore the fact that hes a Coward, Only plays maps with Attack Choppers, Leaves servers when there is no Attack Chopper on the next map... Yadda Yadda Yadda.

Camps Spawns that will be the only threat to him to protect his precious KDR in a Chopper.

Learn the other 90% of the game why don't you?

Anyway, I feel his pain, if I can't get the chopper with somone I know, or by myself I'll leave it. Because I don't wanna die because of someone elses mistake. Same reason I drive Transports rather then getting in with others.

On alot of map the attack Chopper is the most Important and Most Deadly Vehicle on the map. Whenver the Jets aren't the most Dominant, the Attack Chopper is. Air is Superior, but not stealthy.

On Dalian Plant, Daqing Oildfields, and Kubara Damn. If they Attack Chopper keeps all Armor vehicles down, that team will win for sure. Its never failed me...It bugs me when someone else insists on taking the chopper and we lose and I know that we could have won had I been given the Pilots seat Alone.

Yes, You can still do it. But now, if chopper is without pilot over 10 seconds a engine will go off but it really doesn't matter, becuase it takes like 5 seconds to shoot TV to 400m. But now, if you die to chopper but chopper won't be destroyed, it takes only that 10 seconds without pilot before it crash when it before patch took like 1-2 minutes. So because I'm solo TV'ing all the time, this is only good change imo

So what happens if u r in the gunners seat and the engine shuts off? Can you switch to the pilots seat if u r high enough?
