I got my vet knife back last October, basically I had a good squad leader, and I everytime I spawned on my squad leader there was a few noobs ready for some knifing
I got my vet knife badge the other night. Since then i've been recording most of my games. I made a video with some of the knife "fights" ....lol...hope you all enjoy....feedback is appreciated...

I got mine a while back, but still proud. It's frustrating getting only 16 or 17 in a round, but it's sooooo satisfying when you finally do. Just run around Karkand like a demented ijit, stabbing evverything you see. It'll come!
woot i got basic and vet in one round! Warlord has to be one of the best knifing areas. The palace is great for knifing, as well as the insurgent hideout, just wait for guys to come take your flag then run up an stab 'em. Tons of fun it took me a while after i got the badges to get out of knife mode an start shooting again but hey...im just that much closer to Expert now!
I've had my Basic Knife badge for ages, and had built up my kills to 101. The other night, I was playing Warlord with the aim of getting my Veteran Spec-Ops Specialist badge, the last veteran kit badge on my list.
Things went according to plan when the SAS captured one of the Palace spawns (3rd floor), and the traditional corridor battle erupted. I was kicking a lot of ass, as it happened. So much so, that I actually ran clean out of carbine ammo, then clean out of pistol ammo. So, I pulled out my knife and carried on.
As I stabbed my fourth guy, my Spec-Ops Specialist Veteran badge arrived with a little drum-roll. Pleased with myself, I realised that there was still 120-ish tickets on each side, and I'd already knifed four people, so I stuck at it. By climning up the stairs on the back route to the 3rd Floor flag, I managed to surprise lots of guys who were respawning or lying prone PKM'ing down the hall, and, while I died plenty of times, I did get to my Veteran badge. I checked afterwards (since I knew I'd started on 101 knife kills), and figured out I'd gotten 14 that round. Vaguely irritating, but it does sound promising, cause it means that the 18 isn't all that far-fetched (as long as I don't spend the first half of the map filling people with 5.56 rounds instead, I guess...)

Expert Knife was by far the hardest badge to get, of all the badges I´ve got so far.

My tipp for knife expert (I already have it): Warlord with 24 Players. When the SAS have one flag at the palace, knife on
i got expert long ago when dolphin diving was allowed....hehe. I didnt stat pad!!!!....it was just so funny when people tried shooting and kept missing and i knife them.
How many of you got your expert knife with 'pussy' kills? (sneaking behind a sniper, for example) My spermcount increased when I got mine the man's way; dodge their noobspray, get in close and finish the round with a nice gold badge and a score of 30-5 or so - WITH ONLY THE KNIFE (not on a knife/pistol server either)

They're the good ones. They should have made the expert knife requirements 18 KILLS IN A ROUND BUT THE KILLS ONLY COUNT IF THEY ARE ABLE TO PUT UP A FIGHT right at the start. Now what have they done? OH SHIT I HAVE 100 KNIFE KILLS TOTAL! EXPERT KNIFE! I'M PRO!

But, atleast we have the "date awarded" to see who is "pro" and who's not.
Remember remember the 23rd of May... errr. just remember that the noobs got their expert knife on the 23rd because of the patch, kthxbai.

well, i made sure i was about 18 kills away from expert after the patch, and then i tried to get 18 in a round, and sucess.
Im not taking the cheap expert, i wanted to show i could do it the tough way too.... infact im pretty pissed that these new requirments were brought in, like you say "100 knife fill stotal! Expert knife! Im pro!" is really really sad in my opinion! Bring back the 18 kills IAR requirement!!!

I love the knife..its like 1 hit 1 kill....or 2 hits.You need to go close...closer......and then !!!!
hehe, i got my expert 2 days before the last patch, i was with one of my clanmates and we decided to rush the left US arty placement on karkand... he would hide and stay alive so i could spawn close and let me run in knife sharp and stabbing to get my 18 kills, ended up getting 18 with 10 Tickets left and then 2 more right at the end for at total of 20 IAR... one of the funnest (yeah i made that up) rounds ive played in a while. Its funny when a guy spawns and sees an enemy trying to knife 2 of his buddies and just stands there with the WTF look on his face... then when id kill those 2 guys hed either n00btube me or shoot me in the back... ah well, as he was running towards the hotel id knife him in the back! thanks for staying alive SL! this was on a 64man server with 56 players that round... i was so nervous at the last min cause i needed 2 more with 25 tickets left and i didnt think i was gonna get it... 19 and 20 were two AT guys down by the rock and tree trying to take out our tank, always watch your back!
