Was there even a hearing over a judge? Case could be thrown out as early as that.
Not yet. There could be though. However Judges in Florida are elected/retained so I wonder if he/she will go ahead with the trial. I hope it is televised.

So he's been overcharged and is pretty much guaranteed an acquital.

He wasn't charged for almost 7 weeks.
The system works slowly, too.

Zimmerman killed Trayvon. No matter what the fucking laws in Flo Rida say, that is what happened. Trayvon did not have a weapon, Zimmerman did. Zimmerman shot trayvon 4 times, Trayvon "might" have fought with Zimmerman, but isnt that what the fucking "defend your ground" act is, the right to defend yourself in the face of danger.... Zimmerman was not a police officer and he did not have evidence to pursue Trayvon with, not like evidence should give him te right to follow Trayvon anyways.
I don't know exactly what happened, I am just glad Zimmerman was arrested and given a chance at a trial, whatever happens happens but its better than nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if this zimmerman cunt gets off. He may have stumbled his stupid fucking cocksucking ass right through a loophole in florida's retarded laws. Even though he initiated a confrontation he was clearly too fucking stupid to control it may be enough to say he was defending himself. personally, i think his self defense claim goes out the window once the 911 operator tells him to back off. but whatever, it's fucking florida.

hahaha... Wow. See you in the jury pool... er... Nope. They'd toss your loony ass out in a second.

of course I wouldn't be on the jury. the asshole is an embarrassment to gun owners and human beings in general. Zimmerman is a fucking pissant viginante wanna-be tough guy who thinks carrying a gun is the same as a law enforcement badge. Cops can be bad enough, motherfuckers too stupid to even be cops but just as armed are even worse.13rin wrote:

Are you kidding me?! You aren't looking at this from either of the two's perspectives. You're only here to whine about gun laws and crap.
Zimmerman's perspective:
You live in a neighborhood with frequent crime. You decide something needs to be done so you decide to join the neighborhood watch and try to keep things safer. He armed himself in self defense. One night you see somebody wandering around under the rain at night. He seems to be going around kind of aimlessly. So just to be sure you follow the guy for a while, and after the 911 call you decide to go back to your vehicle. At the vehicle you're confronted by this stranger who attacks you, knocks you down, and starts bashing your head into the pavement. You reach for your gun and shoot the guy.
Trayvon's perspective:
You go out to get some skittles, and try to find your dad's girlfriend's house. You don't know the neighborhood well so you're kind of not walking a straight path so-to-speak. You notice a man following you, and when he turns around you decide to follow him back. At his vehicle, you deem him a threat and attack him or whatever the reason may be.
It was Trayvon's fault for coming after George when George broke off. It was an accident of sorts, a misunderstanding that got out of hands. In the end, if what George is saying is true, then he acted in self defense and the tragic misunderstanding ended with Trayvon's life taken.

And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

You've twisted both versions, there is no evidence any of that happened. You notice a man following you, and when he turns around you decide to follow him back. At his vehicle, you deem him a threat and attack him or whatever the reason may be.
Try another
Trayvon's perspective:
You go out to get some skittles, an angry mexican jumps out of his car and shoots you in the chest.
Fuck Israel
Twisted them how? The only story we have is Zimmerman's and an eyewitness say Martin straddling over him.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Zimmerman's story if full of lies, eyewitnesses get things wrong - even if thats true we don't know what led up to it.
Lets try again:
Trayvon's perspective:
You go out to get some skittles, an angry mexican jumps out of his car and starts hassling you, you stand your ground - as is your right under the law - you feel he's a threat to you so you beat him down and restrain him using minimal force - he pulls a gun and shoots you dead.
Lets try again:

Then according to that, Zimmerman could shoot him under the SYG law. You just blew your own case, Dr.Dilbert_X wrote:

Turns out Trayvon was right about Zimmerman being a threat.
He was only a threat if Martin was. That is of course, assuming that Zimmerman didn't have bad intent.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Zimmerman hasn't been the most trustworthy character in all this, not at all.
What has he lied about so far?

Sounds exactly like a person going for a walk. Everyone out in the rain in a "neighborhood with frequent crime" suddenly is a criminal?-Sh1fty- wrote:

As if all the law abiding citizens living there are supposed to lock themselves in like on a curfew.
I've been aimlessly walking around in the rain with my kids, in a more wealthy neighborhood, were there have been multiple burglaries and home invasions.
No one has been jumping out of a car and shooting me, suspecting me to be a kidnapper or pedophile rapist.
And I too would be scared if someone would suddenly follow me.

According to your logic they were both equally entitled to shoot each other - over a kid going out to buy skittles
Martin was within his rights walking from A to B, Zimmerman was not within his rights to intervene, get in a fight and shoot Martin dead.
I'd say someone who wants to cruise around with a gun, but not join the Police, and not take advice from the Police, has questionable intent. He was only a threat if Martin was. That is of course, assuming that Zimmerman didn't have bad intent.
Having his nose broken for a start. What has he lied about so far?

By all means report it to the police and let them deal with it.Jaekus wrote:

Which is what Zimmerman did.
Wait, no it isn't. Even after they asked him not to.
Shifty it's pretty obvious who was out shopping and who was out looking to start something.
what? when did this come out?specops10-4 wrote:

he "stalked" trayvon to see what he was up to, then lost him, then trayvon attacked him. HE WASN'T OUT TO SHOOT THE GUY FFS
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Trayvon jumped out from the bushes and attacked a lost, confused, and frightened Zimmerman.
How do you know this is true?-Sh1fty- wrote:
