BF2S Forums patch 1.3 and xfire

Same problem, I only find about 5 servers, even though xfire shows me about 3000 servers available. All of my favourites don't work as well. I think an game server update will follow soon Have you already checked the xfire forums?

my xfire doesnt show the server being up but when i join game it goes right to the server....its weird..hope they get it fixed

"EA released patch 1.3 which apparently changed some things in the protocol that Gamespy and EA use to comminicate with the servers. It appears that the 'ranked' servers are no longer responding to our querries. We are looking into this and will try and keep you posted.

BTW any fixes like this would require a new xfire.exe and therefore would have to wait till the next full Xfire update in about 2 weeks, and that's if a fix is possible.
