I <3 the m95 and its glass penetration power so much, the other day on mashturr i was up on teh water tower looking at that base by the USMC arty cannons, a full blackhawk is hovering over there with a tank dead-center right under it with about 4 troops around it, guess what? popped the pilot, chopper falls down on tank, blows both of them up, me= 30 points, then Mr.Medic comes and revives 1/2 of all the dead guys on the ground when the wreckage of the blackhawk explodes, killing them all again and me= 14 more points, all do to 1 well placed .50 caliber BMG round.

I'm kinda addicted to the M95 since I've concentrated a bit on anti-material sniping because whenever I pick the L96A1 or the M24 on an attack chopper map I get awesome opportunities to headshot the pilot.
When I change back to the M95 this round all the nice opportunities are suddenly gone though...but not always!

i've never experienced anything like that. anytime i've ever been in a chopper that had the pilot sniped out, the heli just starts flying in a circle. eventually someone jumps in the pilot's seat or we bail. haven't you guys seen the empty choppers circling when someone jumps out over a flag?

I first hated the m95 and I used the M24 and got lots of accurate kills with it. Then the L96 came out and killing with it was too easy. I've been using the M95 for a couple of days and I make about the same amount of accurate kills as the M24. And I can take out copter pilots hovering over my flag.

bit off topic but does that mean you cant switch to gunner and fire a TV missile in a attack chopper when your alone without crashing to certain dead??

Yes you can.

But you need to aim the chopper a bit to the left first because when you switch to the gunners seat the chopper starts spinning to the right.

And while we're at it, AA can't lock on to you if the pilot seat is empty...

VERY cool story. Man, the times you wish Fraps was running huh? I have the worst luck with that damn program, all my good shots get missed and I can record about 6 gigs of worthless mediocre shots.

All I use is the m95. Once you learn exactly where you need to aim at people from a distance, there's no reason to use another rifle. If your target even slipped down a hill a little bit he's a dead man from a shot to his toe. Yeah the L96A1 is extremely accurate, but especially on maps with helicopters, why take the risk of missing a perfect shot? Even if you don't shoot the pilot or the gunner out, you can still do enough damage with a few shots to make the pilot think twice about continuing an assault.

Also, the M95 is the gun I have to thank for my insane streak of USMC chopper steals on Sharqi lately. I've stolen the US chopper a minimum of once every time I play Sharqi for the last three days straight, and I try to play that map every other round or so. If the claymores don't kill the respawning pilots, the M95 will.

I've also started picking up the M95. I sniped all night with it on Kubra and I have a VERY good feel for it and I am headshotting like 400+ meters away. I love it!

30 points = 15 kills. You seriously expect us to believe there was a full blackhawk (7 people), a tank (2 peopl) and 5 more guys standing around at the flag. And then someone who didn't die came along and revived half the people, i.e. revived 7 guys in 15 seconds and you got them all?

Nope, I doubt that happened like you said.

Sounds strange....
when I kill the chopper pilot and the chopper crashes to the ground I do not get any points for gunner or passengers.

Nope, I doubt that happened like you said.

1. a blackhawk is only 6 people
2. he didn't say there was two people in the tank
3. he said "4 troops" around the tank (not 5)
4. the extra points could have come from flag defends. Considering there was a hovering BLACKHAWK I'd say MEC had control of the flag at the time.
