huh, its been too long since i read the books then.
I think it had something to do with the stone he was cowering behind. It had dragon claw marks on it so I assume it was enchanted and protected from the white walkers.AussieReaper wrote:
i've read the books, and i gotta say the season finale ended with a huge what the fuck from me.
how in the hell are we supposed to believe that (season three slight spoiler)
Spoiler (highlight to read):
sam the slayer makes it out of that horde of white walkers? it's inconceivable. sure he has the dragon glass dagger, but he sure as shit doesn't have a dragon glass sword or terracotta army tucked up his arse
P.S. - Shifty, shut the fuck up. Every post by you in this thread is zomg I think this is going to happen or this is epic. Read the fucking books.

Epic end to the season. Can't wait for season 3. Also, my Dad just picked up the first book, hopefully he finishes it soon.
Just about to finish the second last (currently) book. A lot of the characters that are still around haven't even been mentioned in it, and I have maybe 100 pages left.
I'd feather her with my shaft. Don't think I'd penetrate the arrow tip.
Well maybe, just the tip.

Feast for Crows and Dance With Dragons were originally going to be a single (really fucking long) book, but he instead split it into two books with half the characters story lines in one book, and half in the other. DWD is all about Dany, Jon Snow, and Stannis.Adams_BJ wrote:

I've always hated her storyline, her and Sansa.

I enjoy Dany's, hate Sansas. So dull so far.
agreed. arya and tyrion were the interesting ones to me, though jon snow and bran have some good parts too
Arya doesn't do much for me, Tyrion and Jon do however, though Jon isn't appearing lately
Bran has a storyline that just turns into a series of wtf m8Spoiler (highlight to read):
turns into a tree

i know i read it. it gets interesting and its pretty clear hes gonna play a big role in the later books
I dunno. Probably be able to see back in time all the confessions people have made in front of a hearttree. Hint hint Ned on Jon's parentage.
That's pretty minor
I think he teaches Dany and Jon how to win against the White Walkers.

I just realized this just now, but does Jon have his mouth open in every shot he's in?
yes

Ok Brad, your assignment for today is to find me a frame from each episode that Jon appears in that he's got his mouth closed. If you can do that then, I guess I'll give you karma and pretend to not be annoyed with you for a month. Can you do this?-Sh1fty- wrote:
yes
I want the episodes labeled.

With time stamps so we can verify he didn't just close his mouth due to speaking.Doctor Strangelove wrote:
