Closing down breast screening centres to save money that have been in operation for 20 years and have been proven to save lives, closing down the HIV clinic for homosexuals despite the data showing that since it has been open HIV rates have steadily reduced over the past ten years or so, closing down a rehabilitation program for women in FNQ that has helped over 100 women this year alone, reducing recidivism and actually saving money, sacking up to 10k public service workers, including people in essential services and transport... list goes on...
All whilst giving $110 million to the racing industry, some of which will be towards upgrading the bar at the gold coast racetrack, giving tax cuts to the richest people in Australia, approving a mine on the doorstep of the barrier reef and opening national parks to logging (WTF?!)... priorities - they're doing it wrong.

Ooo I can take a stab at the transport one too, but only buses though. Mum works for BT (Brisbane Transport) and they're actually hiring new bus drivers. At my mum's depot I think they have 10-20 new ones per week. The people getting cut are from private companies, E.G. On the southside we have Park Ridge Transport which is basically Browns Plains and farther out.
