Well it finally happened! First time I actually think some was using hax in BF2. I've read numerous posts of people accusing saying this and that naming names, servers and such with no proof. I will not name names or what server it was on because I have NO proof. But I've been playing this game from the get go and have played with many good players and I've never been owned like this. He owned everyone. I'd actually stake my 1st born on it. Well that's it. Just wanted to say it.

I know how you feel mate. Like you I only have one occasion where I am sure someone was using hax (and no I don't have proof - didn't think to take a screenshot, just left the server).
My experience was on Dragon Valley. I'd just killed an AT out in the open with no-one else around. There was a UAV around and no-where for anyone to hide, so I KNOW there was no medics to revive him. Next thing I know, an AT rocket came out of the dead body and killed me. I can think of no explanation for this other than a hack.
If anyone can give me another explanation I'd be grateful. I don't mind being outclassed, but I hate people cheating.

released... and whats even more scary is that punkbuster still doesnt stop even some of the
ones that have been out that long..
Our servers are constantly catching certain hacks.. at least 1 per day.. but some of them
get through.. and with EA's gestapo control nature, we will NEVER see an end to them..
punkbuster is just something to make us all feel nice and tingly inside , nothing more.
One hack in particular that I have been watching has been downloaded 880 times..

Unless you can detail what happened or produce screenshots, it sounds fishy that you've faced a hacker. 90% of the people who accuse a hacker merely got owned by someone really good or by lucky shots, as the forum members help examine the situation.CC-Marley wrote:

You say you want a description of the situation in order to judge whether hacks were being used, and yet when I provided you with a description it gets completely ignored. However I admit I have no proof that the situation I've described actually happened, as I don't run FRAPS, and I was too pissed off to take a screenshot. We all know hacks exist (remember the screenshot nitre posted to congratulate himself on getting an award which showed all the other players as brightly coloured blobs?). I don't think they're as common as some people think, but they do exist, people are using them, and therefore people end up being "victims" of the hacks.
