Thought it would be fun to list all the elements of the game that are the wrong way around.  What I mean is when the game allows you to do one thing but not another when really it should be the opposite effect.  I'll start with these two examples and remember, you must post contradictions only and not just highlight single aspects that annoy you......

1.  An armoured chopper repairs very quickly whilst hovering 50 feet above a helipad whereas a crate heals exposed and vunerable infantry very slooooowly. 

2.  You can reload whilst running but you can't shoot.  The only thing you wouldn't be able to do when running in real life is reload and it's the only thing the game allows you to do.

Your mines/claymores/etc kill the enemy yet do not do any damage to team members.

Guess the mines/claymores/etc have ally detection built in! Very unrealistic!

8. Unlimited ammo bags. Where does that guy stuff all those? Does he crap them out at a staggering rate or what?

Supply drop drifts away as it falls while the vehicle drops fall straight as an arrow making it the death from above tool it is. They wobble but they fall straight.

I actually have gotten very good at dropping crates on commanders and such. Oh well. Moot now.

9.  five C4 bags on top of each other only has the same damage as 1 when really it should take down the entire building.

The hit points on a tank mean that hitting the tracks gives the most effect whereas hitting a tank on the top does very little.  In real life, The Javlin AT weapon was designed to hit targets on the top of a tank as this is where the least armour is, in BF2 it's where the most armour is!

12.  MEC Medics and Assaults can keep tossing the same 2 AK-101 magazines in the air, twirling them around, and re-inserting them, because flipping them upside down magically replenishes their ammo!  But the USMC Assault guy has 6 spare mags and can't tie two of them together.

13.  The shotgun is often a better mid-range weapon than the pistol is.

14.  Assaults can pull the pin on a grenade in a fraction of a second, but flashbangs apparently need to be handled more delicately and stay in the hand for a good two seconds.

15.  A knife to the foot is instantly lethal, but a .50 cal round to the same spot isn't.  Neither, for that matter, is a headshot with the pistol, SMG, M16A2, carbines, or G36E.

How about how a small resupply bag can hold 8, and formally 12, huge helicopter rockets but a tiny ATV or Jeep won't go through a door opening much larger than it.  The palace on warlord must have an anti-atv force field at the entrance.....

16. The PKM street sweaper support weapon is more accurate at long range then the M95 sniper rifle.

An unexperienced chopper pilot will crash and burn within seconds of jumping in the pilot's seat, but if you get in the air and switch to the gunner seat (pilotless) the chopper will spin in one place and hover safely for nearly an entire round without a pilot.  (this may not be the case any more with 1.3)

+1 for the most entertaining thread I've read in a long while!  Funny stuff!

You can pull the pin out of a grenade then when you get shot still holding it, presumably dropping it, it doesnt go off -  not complaining though, think of all the teamkills!!!

Did they fix that yet?

Nope, Had an AT rocket go straight through a tank yesterday.

How artillery can destroy a tank, but not the other way around.

How grenades can be thrown while jumping, but not c4.

How grenades can be thrown 20m max when they could actually be thrown 10x that.

How noob tube grenades are made of rubber but not normal grenades.---lol
