WTF?  Anyone else having a problem logging in after installing 1.3?  It is honestly taking more than 15 minutes to get connected.  I have....

Reset my internet connection
Turned off my firewall
Re-installed the patch
Did a full game uninstall/reinstall
Re-installed the patch again

It is still screwed up.  I have not made any changes to my system other than installing the patch.  Once I did that, it takes FOREVER to get connected.  I haven't been able to play for 2 days now because I don't have the friggin patience to wait for the thing to load.  Does anyone know of a fix?

It doesn't take me 15 minutes, but I have been noticing that it takes longer and longer with each patch. After 1.3 it takes at least two or three minutes, which is a long time to sit staring at a screen, especially when there's two minutes of "Loading" and two more minutes of "Verifying client data" after that.

And on a few occassions, I've finished loading the map only to have the game crash as soon as it loads. At that point, I want to pick up my monitor, carry it to EA's headquarters, and throw it through their goddamn window.

Yes, delete your account, then retrieve it, it will connect much faster.

I agree, It always takes forever with a new patch, I imagine the EA servers which host the Patch files are on the same bandwith as the account servers. I don't see why EA would host them in seperate locations to benefit us every few months.

Yep same problem 20 minutes waiting before join a server.I go with the singleplayer thats much faster.

I'm telling you, just delete your account and retrieve it.  All your settings will be changed back to default but it won't take as long to connect to account server.  Try, trust me, it works.

I'd rather wait than have to go through the BS tutorial crap again... that stuff is annoying.

Try logging in, go to favorites, and then delete all the servers that are white or red.  That helped me.
