Yeah, saw them in 2011. That gig was 10/10. They even played Vicinity of obscenity for the first time live! Just because some girl had a sign requesting for the song The song became quite popular due to a hilarious insert on Radio Rock.
Yeah I saw them both at Soundwave 2012 in Brisbane and then their own show in Sydney a few days later. At their own shown they play Vicinity of Obscenity, it was cool.
Went to the Soundgarden concert last night. Not exactly my favorite band (I have about a half dozen of their most popular songs) but it was my gf's Christmas present and though I may have tried to get her to take someone else who would appreciate it more than I, she took me. That being said, I had a decent enough time. There was some technical difficulties with the sound but it wasn't a showstopper.
It was fun, just not my first choice of bands to go see.
Oh, and Chris Cornell is obviously tired of career. You can tell he's just going through the movements on stage. Granted there aren't a whole lot of dates left on this tour but I specifically picked the first of two dates in Seattle and he hasn't been home to perform in years so I assumed it would get rowdy.
Whatev, the lady liked it so I'm happy.
It was fun, just not my first choice of bands to go see.
