I love this game, LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. I have never loved a game as much as this (maybe Xenon2 or Tomb Raider, but totally different games), and I know people love to moan about BF but I just feel this could be the straw that broke the camels back (For me it is).

I have never known such a mess as this. If we messed up like this ourselves we would be in some serious doo doo.

But EA will be bold as brass monkey when it comes to Armoured Fury and there new game BF2142 and expect us to cough up the money for them.

Me personally I'll wait for the fix of patch 1.3 (which is meant to be a fix itself) to come out and then I'll play out the last of BF2 till the servers have gone. I refuse after paying for BF2 SF and EuroForce which tell me if I'm wrong but I don't think I'm alone don't play that much anyway and then I'll move on to another game.

Sorry EA\DICE you had in my opinion a perfect game called BattleField2 patch 1.22, but you have lost a customer here.

what is so wrong with 1.3. seems to me that there is the same amount of bitching and problems that happen everytime. nothing unusual. screens and videos look great. i am ready for it.

I will get AF, but not 2142. I hope those pussies at EA make amends with a super patch (bring back the original coders, not the newbs that can hack their neighbours porn stores) If Bf2 is properly patched then I will certainly consider 2142, but if they leave it as it is in order for us to move on then thise fuckers have lost 3 quid off of me......

I agree the booster packs are mods if anythin........I mean AF is just new maps and vehicles. Tell you what EA if you sort the shit heap of a mess of 1.3 out, add a 3rd tier of unlocks and stop trying to put us off BF2 i will buy 2142 (when the time is right )

I love it. Mechs with infantry. But im a sci-fi nut. I'll be playing Quake Wars and 2142, and probably play BF2 til I decide im done. I've played Quake TF from inception til now and like to stick with a good game.

I think non sci-fi lovers will be interested in 2142 though so give it a chance, its looks damn good.

Agree with the majority of what has been said but it just gone to far. Really hope Armoured Fury comes out as freebie, this will help to appease many people. But it won't.

Refence to one of you guys, I did state I don't want to bitch and never had until now about BF2, I've loved this game up to patch 1.22. There was nothing wrong, nothing why have they had to do this!

Also another thing I have noticed when a UAV is up the enemy is marked out and they'll be at a flag and the flag is going down but can I see them! NO. Plus some funky TK thing going on some servers which I can not be bothered to discuss, the whole game seems to of took a dive.

I was going to buy both, but EA has pissed me off for the last time, I'm not buying it, I'm just gonna download and play with a few friends over hamachi.

I'm not giving any more money to a company that doesn't listen to what the players want. Or have testers. How many times can they make new bugs? The patches will go on forever, each "hotfix" fixing the last.

I'm just waiting for ET:QW now....

Tbh honest, I felt the game was at it's best, originally, the way it comes out the god dam box. Yes i am aware, it had a few issues, but omfg, like 1.3 doesn't, or any patch that proceeded it. Yes, planes never came down, yes a fully loaded black hawks, could end a round of machur in 30 seconds flat, but fs it was better than this bull. I my self will probably buy 2142, its only £30 (I think) then again, I don't really want to play a start ship troopers sci-fi fucker, but, hey give it a shot.

I think ea could mend a few hearts (lol from what i see there's plenty broken ) buy offering up, 2-3 new maps, I mean come on, we got Wake island for free, whats the harm in converting another few for battlefield 2.

I agree. My assessment of this game was that it was largely sub par and not interesting at all. Months later I came back and bought it, not because I thought well of it in the least, but because it's so damn fun. Ouch.

For me, patch 1.3 has ruined the game. And i mean literally - almost constant crashing whilst joining or in the middle of playing on servers. I was on today playing all three games/packs for 5 hours and i had a total of 5 rounds where the server never crashed = why bother even putting it on.

Never intended to buy 2142 or whatever it is but was intending on buying AF. Not so sure now - no point if i cant even complete a round.

Your choice of servers just suck ass. I have yet to be crashed out. Except for that registry problem i got from using Registry Mechanic. That POS has fucked up my entire computer. I never get any of these "new problems." Right now the game works fine, i fact, i rarely see abuse of power, the AA works like a charm, i even shot down some planes with another plane. I even think i run faster.

And i shall get both AF and 2142BF. Aside from the fact that its totally different set of people working on it, it has a better game play setup, like the Star wars one where you get better weapons IAR, that you get from being good. So a jackass can't just spawn in with a G36E and let loose, they gotta kill before then they are able to unlock it.

I see BF2 on a road to nowhere & I thought of 2142 for the same, but the nafter watching the 20 minute E3 Gameplay walkthrough I changed my mind completely. If you think about it its going to have an award system with almost a years beta testing an Engine with the same possibly more. Plus the custom unlock & kit system is a nice feature

No,I don't care for their half assed download only format.I prefer a tangible hard copy.I wouldn't mind paying more for it.This latest patch really made me loose faith in EA and their products.If anything,AF should be free for all the trouble and to keep some of their loyal customers.
