Yes. For simplicities sake, go to program files/ea games/bf2 and start "BF2ServerLauncher.exe"
There's alot of options, you can figure them out (hint: readme.txt) but the global unlocks and global rank ones ought to be pretty obvious.

im pretty sure you cant use unlocks on unranked servers.
UseGlobalUnlocks box cannot be checked in the launcher.
I've been able to do this in the past (older patch revision, older version of BF2CC). I just tried it yesterday with server version 1.3 and the most recent BF2CC, and can't get it to allow unlocks. I've also tried using the vanilla launcher (ie no BF2CC) and still no joy. Have they changed something between versions?Hyper wrote:

u can use unlocks in a unrank server
Teh Gibson server lets us use unlocks, but shows no rank
use the standalone server. read the command list to know what ur doing. i tried hosting one for some friends. but with my measely 1meg upload. it wasnt smooth at all even with 10 players.
u need a kick ass carrier with some serious upload. and sadly most US carriers dont have that. unless u go for an Enterprise account on cable or DSL

hes goign to use the server at a lan party so that shouldnt be a problem
So its free for an unranked server?
