Well I just so happened to upgrade my computer the day 1.3 came out so I'm not sure if my problem is related to the new patch or my system. Here is the deal... I upgraded from an Athlon 2Ghz w/1.5GB ram to this:
Asus P4P800-E Deluxe Mobo
P4 3.0Ghz /800FSB
2GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS RAM PC3200 in dual channel
XFX Geforce 6800 AGP
Antec True Power 550 Watt PS
The videocard stayed the same and on my old system the game ran smooth as silk. Now on my new setup with all my video settings set the same, my FPS are HORRIBLE! I avg. 15fps in game now.
I initially was using the TweakRus nvidia drivers and I've just changed to the NGO drivers - no improvement.
Yes I used driver cleaner and I've been using Diskeeper to defrag all the time. I used to have my video settings set to Medium and to test, I lowered them all to Low and my FPS went from 15 to about 23 on avg.
Do you guys have any suggestions? Do you think this is a system or patch problem? Thanks in advance!
