Ever since i download the 1.3 patch i get a connection problem every 5 mins and then it boots me from the server any ideas?
You need to be more specific.
Are you using wireless or wired? Did you try updating punkbuster? Did you install incremental or full?

wired. i installed incremental. i didnt update punkbuster and never have. Its just now i get it all the time with this patch.
I get a crash to desktop everytime I try and join a server. I did the incremental, then did the full, and manually updated punkbuster both times. bleh
Don't click on the "join server" button with the mouse; instead, press escape to enter the game. I had the same problem.
any ideas about MY problem?
install using the FULL patch. the incremental is said to be problematic.
so how do i get rid of the patch? but not bf2?
I agree. I installed the incremental and had the same problem. Crash to desktop after everything has loaded and im about to join the map. I tried backtracking by doing a straight install of the full 1.22 over it, but ofcourse that didnt work. So I re-installed the game completely (just keep all your profiles and controls), and installed the full 1.22 followed by the incremental. Had the same crash problem twice and then not anymore after that.
I would recommend re-installing the game and hitting it up with the full 1.33 patch. I have heard it's a sure fire way all round.

try using full update. Check your router settings if u use one.
DO A FULLY CLEAN INSTALL . clean out Reg, all traces of bf2. google it if u needa know what to look for. and try a program to clean the reg, i use CCleaner. it works pretty good. they are all bout the same
i still have a screwy browser. and it takes a good minute to even login to my account after this update. so its obvious......
