Just put a evo cluster in my car, wanted the RPMs in the middle and the dark background instead of white like my OZ cluster. why? Because RACE CAR!
Also, mileage went from 110k to 47k which makes me feel better mentally when I drive my car

(Not my car, but same exact layout. Except for the MPG - he's getting 20.4, I get 20.7)
One thing I hate about my Subaru WRX. GIANT RPM gauge in the middle of the dash, small speedometer, crappy fuel gauge & "it's always in the middle" temperature gauge. No boost gauge.
I don't even need an RPM gauge - I can hear where the engine is at, and I have a rev limiter in the ECU.
WTF is this giant RPM gauge for?
A penis meter?!
"You're at 5 inches... no, no.. FIVE-POINT-FIVE INCHES! REDLINE!! WE CANNA GET ANNAH BIGGAH, CAPT'N!!"Seriously, how about
- Speedometer in the middle
- RPM gauge on the right, half size
- Boost gauge on the right, half size
- Temperature gauge on the left, half size analog, with digital display, actual temperatures
- Fuel gauge on the left, half sized, digital gallons and digital estimated remaining miles at current MPG
Typical Subaru fuel gauge - the first actual 1/4 of the mileage takes 1/2 the tank, according to the gauge. The last 1/2 of the mileage is on the last 1/4 of the tank.
Typical US temperature gauge. Anything below 1/2, and it means the car has been running less than 5 minutes. Exactly at 1/2, regardless of how hard you've pushed the turbo, or how long you've been "driving miss daisy" or sitting at a stoplight at idle. Temp gauge only goes above 1/2 if the engine bay is actually, currently, and completely engulfed in flames. Maybe. Depends if it's a gas or diesel fire.
